Our retreat starts in Milan, a city renowned for its rich cultural heritage. The city boasts numerous museums and art galleries, each displaying some of the world's most breathtaking collections. From Gothic to Renaissance, Baroque to Futurism, Milan's historical tapestry is a testament to the diverse artistic styles that have shaped it over the centuries. The city's architecture and art still carry the influences of these styles, making it an unparalleled destination for art and culture enthusiasts.

Aside from its historical significance, Milan is also the epitome of modernity. As a vibrant and dynamic metropolis, it blends harmoniously the old and the new. With its European charm and cosmopolitan atmosphere, it stands tall as a global fashion and design hub. You'll be captivated by the city's unique fusion of elegance and creativity as you explore its magnificent streets.

Milan Duomo

MILAN DUOMO - This big and awe-inspiring Gothic cathedral is among the largest in the world. Its intricate design and ornate decoration, a testament to human creativity, make it a must-see attraction and the most iconic structure in Milan. Prepare to be truly captivated by its magnificence. The construction started in 1386 and passed through different significant stages until the 18th and 19th centuries, which explains the complexity of the structure. The Cathedral is 102 meters tall and has 135 spires.

From the cathedral rooftop, a breathtaking panorama of the city unfolds. The spires that crown the roof create a unique silhouette against the sky, offering a view that is both awe-inspiring and unforgettable.

Galleria Vittorio Emanuele Milan

GALLERIA VITTORIO EMANUELE II - Constructed between 1865 and 1877, the Galleria is a luxurious passage that connects Milan Duomo and La Scala. It's renowned for its beautiful architecture, featuring a stunning glass and iron roof, intricate mosaics, and neoclassical details. The Galleria is home to various super luxury stores and boutiques, offering an exclusive shopping experience, along with a range of restaurants and cafes.

One of the most intriguing traditions associated with the Galleria is the 'ritual of the bull '. It's a unique sight to see visitors spinning on their heels three times on the mosaic of the bull on the arcade floor. This tradition, believed to bring good luck and ensure a return trip to Milan, adds a touch of magic to the Galleria experience.

 Scala Milan

SCALA - La Scala, which means “the Stairs” is an iconic opera house known worldwide for the exceptional performances by renowned artists throughout history. The theater has a unique semicircular shape with four stories of boxes, and it was opened in the 17th century. The current structure that we see today was renovated in 1907, and it can accommodate up to 1987 seats including boxes. During the Second World War, the theater was severely damaged, and it was rebuilt again in 1946. The theater has a luxurious red upholstery finish overall, with classic chandeliers to light up the stage.

La Scala inspires us to strive for excellence and to leave mediocrity behind through the outstanding performances and talented artists who have graced its stage.

Ljubljana is a charming city that promises to capture your heart with its picturesque riverbanks and alleyways. The city was declared the Capital of Europe in 2016 and is known for its restriction on car traffic in the center. The emerald-green Ljubljanica River flows through the heart of the city, and the leafy banks of the river are a popular spot for strolling and relaxing.

During the summer months, the cafes along the riverbanks set up terrace seating that creates a lively and vibrant atmosphere that feels like a nightly street party. The city center has been transformed into a car-free zone, making it a perfect spot for cycling or walking with your furry friends, family, or loved ones. The center is bustling with people who enjoy the outdoors and the scenic views of the city.

In addition to its natural beauty, Ljubljana is known for its rich cultural heritage and impressive architecture. The city is home to many museums, art galleries, and historic landmarks that attract visitors from all over the world. The locals are friendly and welcoming, making it easy to immerse yourself in the city's culture and feel like a part of the community.

CITY TOUR - The Ljubljana walking tour and a canal cruise allow you to explore this unique city and see the best spots. This tour will guide you through the rich architectural tapestry of Ljubljana, from the stunning Baroque old town to the elegant Art Nouveau new town. You'll encounter iconic landmarks such as the Town Hall and Dragon Bridge and experience the vibrant local life at the Farmers Market. Marvel at the remarkable architecture of an old skyscraper, and be prepared to be awe-struck by the breathtaking panoramic view of Ljubljana from above.

Castle Ljublijana

LJUBLJANA CASTLE - The castle, which has stood on a hill above the city for about 900 years, is Ljubljana's main attraction. We will reach it by funicular railway. Here, you will experience The Time Machine, which will take you through the six key periods that have marked the history of the Ljubljana Castle and the development of the city. A castle guide will lead you to six-time stations. At each station, you will be greeted by a figure from that time who will give you a fascinating insight into their period. We will also see the castle's Outlook Tower, which offers some of the most beautiful views of the city. The castle houses a museum exhibition on Slovenian history, a puppet museum, and a number of historical rooms, such as the Chapel of St George, the Prison, and a video presentation room called Virtual Castle.

Bled Lake

DAY TRIP TO BLED LAKE - Lake Bled, a haven of natural beauty, is one of the most picturesque places to visit. This small lake is a perfect escape, offering a majestic castle perched on a hill, a charming little island that invites you to explore its mysteries, secluded swimming spots and a delightful treat for all. The lake, fed by gentle thermal springs, offers stunning scenery that will leave you in awe.

Stepping beyond the amphitheater, the streets of Pula's old town offer a captivating blend of architectural styles.
