STRASBOURG - FRANCE

Strasbourg, located in the Alsace region of eastern France, is a fascinating city rich in history and culture. It occupies a unique position on the border with Germany, which has resulted in a distinctive blend of French and German architectural influences. At the heart of Strasbourg lies the historic center, which is home to the iconic Cathedral and was given UNESCO World Heritage Site status in 1988. The architecture of the center reflects both the Haussmanian model and the best of Germanic and French styles, offering a glimpse into the city's diverse cultural heritage. The center has been remarkably well-preserved, making it a living monument to the past that evokes a sense of awe and respect in visitors.

Christmas is one of the best times of the year to visit this beautiful town, with its world-renowned Christmas Market. It's the ideal place to find traditional Alsatian symbols, such as hot wine, cookies, and incredible decorations that will transport you to a winter wonderland.

CITY TOUR - Strasbourg's historic center is a charming and picturesque area located on the Grande-Île island. It is an excellent place to explore on foot, with many attractions and activities to enjoy. The magnificent Notre Dame cathedral with its unique spire is a must-see, as is the picturesque Petite France district, which is full of quaint houses and scenic canals. Additionally, there are numerous museums, including those in the Rohan Palace, as well as grand shopping centers and smaller local boutiques to satisfy all shopping needs. Moreover, the area offers a range of restaurants that cater to all tastes, making it an ideal destination for a day trip or longer stay.

Strasbourg Christmas Market

STRASBOURG CHRISTMAS MARKET - The Strasbourg Christmas Market, a unique and renowned event, holds the distinction of being the oldest and most famous Christmas market in France. It boasts over 300 chalets, each offering a unique experience, scattered across a dozen sites, including the Cathedral Square.

You will immerse yourself in the festive spirit of Christmas, enjoying decorations, handicrafts, and local food products. As you stroll through the main shopping streets, adorned with grandiose Christmas light illuminations, you'll find that the Strasbourg Christmas Market is a treasure trove of unique items. The Strasburgers' festive decorations on house facades and balconies add to the magical atmosphere.

Strasbourg  Boat Cruise

BOAT CRUISE - Strasbourg is surrounded by water and exploring the city from a boat will give you a unique perspective. You'll get to see parts of the city that you might not have discovered on foot, and learn about the city's history and heritage as you cruise past its historic monuments and districts.

If you think it's December and it's cold, don't worry; the boats used during the winter are covered and heated.

PRAGUE CHRISTMAS MARKET - The Prague Christmas markets are a unique blend of enchantment, with their distinctive decorations, picturesque surroundings, and backdrops. You'll find a variety of local delights, from the excellent mulled wine to the sweet-smelling pastry, hot mead, and juicy ham, all adding to the charm of the markets. Step into the craft world at the Prague Christmas markets, where a treasure trove of products awaits. From ceramics and glassware to beautiful jewels, embroidered lace, and wooden toys, the markets are a haven for unique, handcrafted items. You'll also find candles, Christmas tree ornaments, winter hats and gloves, dolls dressed in traditional costumes, and a myriad of other products, all lovingly made by local artisans.

Bead Factory

FACTORY & BEAD SHOPS TOUR - You will witness the art behind the Czech beads. Starting with raw materials, you will be shown the technological processes involved, as well as the cutting and polishing techniques that are required to create these stunning beads.

After that, we will visit a factory that specializes in creating Christmas decorations. Throughout the tour, you will gain insight into the raw materials, tools, and techniques that are used to create such beautiful ornaments. You will also discover the amount of time and dedication that the artisans put into mastering new forms and the strict quality standards that are maintained throughout the entire production process.

Vienna, also known as the City of Music, is a paradise for art and music lovers. It has been the birthplace of countless artistic and musical achievements and has contributed significantly to the world of classical music. It's worth noting that more famous composers have called Vienna home than any other city, and the city's music scene continues to thrive, offering a vibrant and diverse range of musical experiences.

Vienna Christmas Market

VIENNA CHRISTMAS MARKET - If you really want to step into a fairy tale land, you must definitely go to Vienna in December. Words cannot describe the festive atmosphere that this capital offers near Christmas and New Year. Baked chestnuts, gingerbread, mulled wine, baked potatoes, apples dipped in chocolate, marzipan figurines, glazed walnuts, wooden houses decorated with garlands, children's choirs singing carols, the huge decorated Christmas tree in the middle of the market... all these are part of the Christmas Market charm, enveloped in the medieval atmosphere of the old city that hosts the event every year, since the 14th century.

REGISTRATION

Cost:

- 3870 EURO for BEADER

- 3670 EURO for traveling companion (this price applies only to 1 companion)

Deposit:  a 500 EURO deposit is required to hold your seat (250 euro non-refundable if you cancel)

Payment schedule:

- The second payment of 2000 EURO is due by February 15th, 2024

- The full payment is due by May 1st, 2024

Accommodation: the price is based on a double-occupancy room in a hotel. Supplement of +1070 EURO is applicable for a single room (based on availability)

We encourage you to bring a traveling companion along.

Registration: to register for the retreat, please fill out the registration form and pay the required deposit.  Kindly note that registration without a deposit is not valid and doesn't guarantee a seat.

Please keep us informed of any changes to your email address, as we will periodically send you information about the retreat.

Payment options: payment can be made through PayPal or by card.

Registration will be processed in the order received. There are a limited number of seats available. Once your deposit is processed, you will receive a confirmation email. If you don't receive the confirmation within 48 hours, please contact us.

 

Cancellation Policy:

We would like to inform you that we are not responsible for any cancellations you make for any reason.

However, if you decide to cancel your reservation before February 15th, 2024 (included) you will be refunded with the amount received from you (except 250 EURO non-refundable). If you cancel after February 15th, 2024 you will be refunded the amount paid, less 500 EURO

If you cancel your reservation after Mary 1st, 2024, we cannot issue any refunds.

If the organizer needs to cancel the event, all the money received from you will be refunded in full.​

The price doesn't include Paypal/Card fees (non-refundable)

Registrations made without paying the deposit will be considered null and void.

Availability of single rooms is limited. Please get in touch with us before registering to check availability.

The organizer reserves the right to make changes to the retreat if deemed necessary. However, you will be notified in advance of any such changes.

The organizer reserves the right to refuse services.

We strongly recommend that you purchase travel Insurance.
