BRISBANE - May 23-29, 2027

Your adventure begins in Brisbane, a vibrant riverside city where you will settle in, meet fellow participants, and enjoy a welcoming dinner to start the retreat.

During your stay, you will explore Brisbane on a gentle city highlights walking tour, designed to introduce you to the city's vibrant culture, beautiful riverfront, and modern architecture at a comfortable pace.

You will also enjoy a scenic Brisbane River cruise and visit the famous Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary, the world’s oldest and largest koala sanctuary. Here you will have the chance to see Australia’s most beloved animals up close—koalas, kangaroos, and other native wildlife—making this visit a truly memorable introduction to Australia.

Throughout your stay in Brisbane, you will participate in inspiring bead workshops, where you can learn creative projects. You will also have the opportunity to visit several local bead and craft shops. This shopping experience is always a highlight for bead enthusiasts, offering the chance to discover new materials and inspiration.

One of the most memorable excursions from Brisbane is a day trip to Moreton Island, a beautiful island paradise just off the coast. You will travel by ferry across turquoise waters before boarding a comfortable catamaran for a whale-watching cruise. During the cruise, expert guides will share fascinating information about the behavior and habitat of these magnificent animals. The day also includes time to relax at the Tangalooma Island Resort, where you can enjoy the pools, restaurants, and peaceful island atmosphere.

CAIRNS - May 29 - June 6, 2027 

Midway through the retreat, you will fly from Brisbane to Cairns, the gateway to Australia’s tropical north. The flight takes about 2 hours, offering beautiful aerial views of Queensland’s coastline along the way. Cairns offers a completely different landscape from Brisbane. Surrounded by lush rainforest and the Coral Sea, the city is known for its relaxed atmosphere and spectacular natural beauty.
Upon arrival, you will transfer to your hotel and have time to explore the lively Cairns Esplanade, a vibrant waterfront area filled with cafés, shaded walking paths, art installations, and the famous lagoon swimming area overlooking the sea.

While in Cairns, you will experience one of the world’s most extraordinary natural wonders — the Great Barrier Reef. This full-day excursion allows you to admire the vibrant coral ecosystem through accessible options such as glass-bottom boats, reef viewing platforms, or semi-submersible reef tours, making the experience enjoyable even for those who prefer not to snorkel.

Another unforgettable day will take you deep into the tropical rainforest on the spectacular Skyrail Rainforest Cableway. Floating gently above the rainforest canopy, you will enjoy breathtaking views before arriving in the charming mountain village of Kuranda, a creative community known for its artists and craftmakers. After exploring the village, wildlife parks, and artisan markets, you will return to Cairns on the historic Kuranda Scenic Railway, one of Australia’s most scenic train journeys.

You will also have free time to enjoy Cairns at your own pace — perhaps visiting the lively Night Markets, enjoying local cafés along the marina, or relaxing in Palm Cove, a beautiful coastal village known for its palm-lined beach, luxury spas, and Coral Sea views.

Our journey concludes back in Brisbane, where you will gather for a festive farewell dinner to celebrate unforgettable memories created during your time in Australia.
